Easter Sunday Events - April 8 |

Easter Sunday will soon be here. We are having two services that day. The first one is at 8:00 a.m. and the second one is at 9:45 a.m.
Pastor Bill has invited the Sunday School children to sing in both services. I know it will be an earlier and longer day than usual, but we have fun activities planned for them!
Breakfast will be served to the children between services and an Easter egg hunt is planned for them after they sing the second time.
It will be a very exciting Sunday. I hope your child will be able to participate.

All Church Fun Night! Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Bowling and more! NAS Fallon - cost will be $5.00 includes shoes and 3 games. Please let us know if you are planning on joining us so we can give a count to the bowling alley.
Recycling collection has been discontinued. We are no longer going to collect plastic or aluminum recycling, at the church. If you still wish to recycle you can take your items to The Can Man on Williams Avenue and if you wish to give the proceeds to our Benevolence fund that would be wonderful.
Sunday School Teachers Needed for the next 9 weeks. We are studying the Fruits of the Spirit - an awesome study. The lessons are all ready to hand out to the helpers - all we need are the helpers. Believe me, you will receive a blessing working with these little ones.
The children are learning some songs to share on Easter morning with the congregation. We will have an Easter celebrationon April 9th - come join the fun!
Bible Studies: Remember, the Wednesday night Bible study on Ephesians is every week at 7:00 p.m. in the Sunday School building. Great study and fellowship. Come join us.
The every other Tuesday night study is at 7:00 p.m. in the Sunday School building. We have a brand new book on Christian Living. Come join us.

We are back in our church - starting January 22, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. Church services will be held at Oasis Community Church 2705 Schurz Highway, Fallon, Nevada. Be one of the first to worship in the renovated church. It is absolutely beautiful - we are truly blessed. Sunday School will be held in the social hall/Sunday school building - we have nursery, toddler, pre-school, grade school, and youth groups. There is something for everyone.
Our last service in the old Wal-mart building was this past Sunday, January 15th. We've had some wonderful times in our temporary home but are excited to get settled in the church building. Monday, January 16th is moving day. We are meeting at the church at 9:00 a.m. to put everything in its place. If you are available Monday, come join us - the more the merrier and the faster the work will go.

Attention new comers -- You are invited to lunch at the Pastor's house, 630 Timothy Way, January 22nd right after church. If possible, RSVP by January 18th 775-427-2371. We will have a new comers lunch every 4th Sunday of the month. Come join us and let's get acquainted.
BUNCO Night! Sunday, January 15th from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Join the Oasis Youth Group for prizes, food, and fun. Bring your friends - the more the merrier. If you are 7th grade through high school this night's for you. For more information call Debbie 775-842-0878, JD, or Ed at 775-560-8134.
Oasis Community Church, 2705 Schurz Highway, Fallon, is havings its re-opening - join us for this special occasion on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. Bring a friend (or bring a total stranger) Finger food reception following the service. Come see how God has richly blessed us.
Mr. Good Guy 2012 Contest. Men, write down a loving note to your sweetheart and on Sunday, February 19th the ladies will read the notes and the congregation will select Mr. Good Guy 2012. The winner will receive a dinner for two (to be announced) and also a special presentation will be made to Mr. Good Guy 2012 and his sweetheart.
Tuesday Bible study will start up again on January 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the social hall at Oasis Community Church at 2705 Schurz Highway.
Wednesday night Bible Study is in Isaiah 65. John Huckaby is conducting this study in the social hall at Oasis Community Church at 2705 Schurz Highway. Come join us for a great study - almost finished with this study - come see what will be next.
Great things are being planned for our growing Sunday School - bring the kids and join our Oasis family - we would love to have you join us.
