Tozer Daily Devotional

  • The Bane of "Religious Talk"
Now, while we cannot project ourselves backward through time and walk again in Galilee with Christ and His disciples, we can by faith actually experience "the substance of things hoped for"; we can have every sufficient "evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1, KJV); we can taste "the powers of the coming age" (6:5); we can "know" and "comprehend"; we can have the inner witness,...

WE ARE

... a community church committed to obey God's Word which reveals to us the glorious news of salvation and gives instruction for daily living.

WE BELIEVE

...that God loves each person and desires that each one of us experience His love and His perfect plan for living.

WE DESIRE

...that the fellowship, love, and instruction of our service will help you discover God's wonderful way and strengthen you in it.

FAQ about Oasis Community Church

What are the basic beliefs of Oasis Community Church?

We hold to the inspiration and authority of the Bible, the Trinity, the perfect deity and humanity of Christ, the sinfulness of man, the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, the bodily resurrection and ascension of Christ, the imminent return of Christ, a literal heaven and hell, and that obedience (love) is the absolute evidence of a genuine believer.

Oasis Community Church desires to produce mature, loving, prayerful, positive, expectant, equipped, doctrinally biblical, morally pure, evangelistic, reproducing disciples of Christ who will relationally share the gospel in love and in power with everyone in the Churchill County area, primarily through the one-on-one witness of Spirit-empowered believers.

At what times are your services?

We have fellowship every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. and worship services are immediately following at 10:00 a.m.

What do I do with my kids during the service?

For those of you with children, we have a nursery in the back of the Sanctuary for children up to age two. We dismiss the rest of the children and youth before the message so that they may attend Sunday School. However, feel free to keep your children with you during the service.

What should I wear to services?

Wear what make you feel comfortable.  We are more interested in that you are here rather than what you are wearing.
